Hello!
I am Petros Skoutas or otherwise Gorilla Cinematography.
From a very young age, I developed an unmeasurable love for cinema and films.
I think, dream and communicate with moving images as long as I remember myself.
At the age of 27, I decided to risk everything (a decate plus career as a motorcycle mechanic, for a major manufacturer) and devote myself entirely to what I love, Cinematography.
I am self-taught and very proud of it.
Eight years after the transition I have shot, directed, colored, and edited more than 900 projects.
The Gorilla Way!
What's unique about me is my creative way of thinking. My brain generates visual ideas every single second.
In cinematography, editing, and art in general there is a lot of problem-solving. My background as an engineer helped me develop my skills in this part.
My most significant influences in cinematography are Roger Deakins, Emmanuel Lubezki, and Christopher Doyle.
As for directors, I have deeply studied the work and writings of Andrei Tarkovsky, Bela Tarr, Theodore Aggelopoulos, Krzysztof Kieslowski, Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick and many many more.

You can expect me to realize everything in a wide variety of stuff, including dance videos, music videos, narrative work in film and documentary, commercials, social media content, Weddings and Christenings, drone work, live event coverage, and fashion.
I treat my craft and art with the utmost respect, and aesthetics are always on top.
So that's a few words for me, from me.
Let's realize your dreams together.
